London “Nothing Matters”, new skull paintings by Damien Hirst to be displayed at White Cube venues.

After the debut of a new body of work by Damien Hirst at the Wallace Collection entitled “No Love Lost,” which has been running since October 14, new paintings by the provocative artist will be released to the public in the new exhibition“Nothing Matters,” involving both White Cube Gallery venues from November 25th 2009 to January 30th 2010.
“No Love Lost,” presenting twenty five ‘blue’ paintings (including two triptychs) created between 2006 and 2008, has signalled Hirst’s recent return to the most tactile form of artistic production: a radical shift in his studio practice. In “Nothing Matters,” White Cube Gallery is now unveiling new works on canvas including more skull paintings and major triptychs.
