THEY say time waits for no man.

And neither does it submit to MADONNA, or not anymore.

The Queen Of Pop showed some welcome signs of her age at a gala in New York last night.

The chart-topper has always had a remarkably flaw-free appearance, but at the fifth annual Fashion Delivers event at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel a few wrinkles round the eye and a saggy chin were clearly on display.

I'm pleased to see the 52-year-old has begun ageing like mere mortals, though she still scrubs up spectacularly well.

Anyway, she has millions in the bank and a toyboy lover.

So it's not all bad really...
