(Image courtesy of Nightly News) For Lori Bell, the military is a way of life. Being a military spouse and mother she is someone who knows first-hand the struggles they face and decided to create an online platform where people like her could find common ground.
Bell and her husband make up and Air Force couple, and she is the mother of two with a third on the way. Lori retired a few years ago but her husband served for 15 years and recently returned to Afghanistan. This last separation was when she had the idea to start the National Association of Military Moms and Spouses, an online community that offers support on finances, child care, even tips on how to get through a long-term deployment.
