| "2010 Craft Arts Annual: Make Me Something Beautiful" highlights the works of NJ's visual artists and craftspeople. The event, held annually at one of six sponsoring museums, is part of a unique exhibition program. The 2010 Crafts Arts Annual, exhibiting 97 objects by 49 artists, marks the 100th anniversary of the Newark Museum’s first decorative arts exhibition promoting beauty in handcraft and industrial design. Jurors were Ulysses Grant Dietz, Senior Curator and Curator of Decorative Arts at the Newark Museum, and Nicholas R. Bell, Curator of the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC.
