We fully support and believe in the efforts she has made to not only elevate Helsinki artists,
but to promote illustration and the book arts. And of course, because she does it so well.

After spending some time with Jenni Rope, one will notice there is so much more behind her unassuming demeanor. She arrived in Berlin on a direct flight from Helsinki, the night before her exhibition My Forest was to open at Bongoût. Her entire exhibition, Napa books included, was hand carried in brightly colored and neatly patterned travel bags, with tape to match.
Within hours she had her exhibition installed. The show initially might be considered embarrassingly simple, however, standing in Jenni’s forest, one begins to feel a radiating sense of attention to design. This clean attractive design is something Scandinavians seem to be bred with. Small breaths of fresh air sneak out between the colored shapes. In this exhibition, importance is placed on the relationship of each object to the next. Cumulatively, they are creating something bigger than themselves. This could tell you something about yourself when searching through the exhibition. Do you see the trees in the forest? Or do you see the forest in the trees?
