Dear First lady
I am an Obama fan, I love what you guys are doing and I am so proud, I can burst.
It’s still hard for me to watch you and your husband on the world stage with out bursting in to tears of joy.
You are my idol even more so….. than your husband. Every time I look at you I see my beautiful young daughter and know that now she truly can be any thing she desires in life.
But I do have a bone of contention to pick with you.
Chicago, your home town is a mess. It’s a disgrace, not the town and not hopefully the people. But the rest of us that are allowing all of those children to be killed. We are all responsible all of America but esp. all of us African Americans. For not having the gumption to show up there in force and just say stop.
But you could do this for all of us; you are our strongest proudest and most visible face.
I implore you to go bring the secret service for the outsiders and nut cases, but when you are alone with these kids
As many as you can find. As many as you can see. When you are alone, just one guard.
Show these kids that you aren’t scared of them, give them a hug. I don’t have to tell you what to do. .
Then take their names and assign some staff to follow them to call them once a week or more. To listen to their needs and refer them to the agencies and help services that they need.
Show up every few months and you will win them over. None of them would dare to insult our first lady. All of them would protect and love and follow you.
So Michelle go to Chicago, go there like Jesus…………………go into their mist
You aint scared of these kids they are you and they are me and more than me.
These are your people
Walk the streets like you own them, let them see you..Touch you and love you.
Like so many of the rest of us do…………………..We are Proud of you Mother, sister, daughter.
Go there looking beautiful and smart and tough and shut down that mess shut it down……………please
Youi have nothing to prove to the rest of the world any more. We have arrived you and The Presdent have seen to that. Now become our warrior become our shena……….
