I just left the store of an old old friend
A store owned by Palestinians
They go back and forth between the homeland and here
And are really political
They warmed my heart
They spoke of Obama and how much people in the Middle East want to believe
They told me that his speech shook up the Middle East
He told me of how much they want to believe
In fact of how much they do believe in this man
They said that he has to understand
It's in his blood
Its amazing …………….truly amazing
The good will that this mans simple speech in Egypt has done
And any one that doesn't see that Iran is a country worthy
Of knowing is silly
Those young folks are rocking
Matter of fact what happened
We went from young people who couldn't get out of their own way
To revolution
In this country with the election of Obama
And all around the world
It's amazing to watch
Yup I stayed here and spoke to these Middle Eastern men for an hour
It's amazing how much we have in common
Their store is in the hood
Anyway
The world is changing
