A repost Its getting close to election time Old Negroes, old white Liberals please ..........just stay quiet

Jackson Apologizes for Obama Remark

jesse_jackson

Well I hate to say it but.................

Jealous old men.......

Acting like a bunch of spiteful queens

I said it once and ill say it again

From the inside

Nader, Nader

Ralph-Nader--2303

I don't want to get started on him again

But

I have his picture on my wall now

I throw things at it

Before I go to sleep at night

It’s next to a john Wayne poster

And I have come to like the duke in my old age

Anyway

My father used to say that almost every slave rebellion

Failed

Because of fear

On the part of other slaves

And yes slavery and its ugly repercussions

Are still alive and well

Jessie jack son

I met him a few times with Dean Morton

The dean used to talk about Jessie's ego

And how recently he was at least starting to get a little humble

He is a larger than life figure

Has done enormous things

But he and his whole group

Which includes so many?

Nader, McCain, Cheney, Bush, Rev. Wright

They should all have monthly picnics

Good old boys talking about the good old days

When young folks knew their place

They could drink some beer and talk

About the world

Before the rules changed

America will never understand how black people

Talk when they are alone

But that’s another issue

Jessie is a professional

Who should have known better?

He ought to be ashamed

He more than any one should know

That Obama has to play the game

He should be there

To see that when or if he is elected

That he does some good

But until then

He should just

Shut the hell up

And leave things alone

Obama

If he is brought down will be brought down

By Blacks and white woman and liberals

Who still think?

That abortion and picketing

And picketing and rebellion is the way

Shut the hell up

Give me a break

All of this it’s making me spiteful

Turning me into a mother hen

I Hillary's woman

Hillary woman poster

F they won’t vote for Obama

Then I won’t support many of the issues that I nod my head too

I am neither pro abortion or against it

I think its total woman’s issue

I will just follow what they say

But

Their are so many more important issues out there

And white woman always could get abortions

So I don't really see the power in this cause

Anyway more

I just don’t and ill see it less.........as they talk more

And if they give Obama more and more problems

Then its war

Yes I am turning into a spiteful old queen

Just like the rest of them

My next prediction

Is that this election will tear apart

Many of the old coalitions

They really won’t be needed any more

Young folks are into different things

Anyway

Jessie is right.............Obama has to address black issues

But Jessie............damn.......................

Not yet

Jessie on a private note one really believed you could be president

Or Shirley Chisholm, Ralph Nader, or the head of the communist party

And Jessie

Quite frankly when you were running

I didn't understand a damn thing you said

Except for I am some body

Sorry

Black English my ass

You can’t talk for shit

Anyway Jessie

We want this guy

You had your chance

Take some more corporate money

And be nice to your wife for once

Anyway

Some one needs to tell Jessie

That Obama can’t fix as a president

What blacks haven't fixed as a people

You couldn't fix it

Jessie

Obama will do more

Just being there

For young folks of color to see and admire

Than any one has done before

He is knocking down that ceiling

Supplanting rap stars as our main role models

Obama is funny looking

I don’t know if I can hang him on my wall

But ill try

Anyway

Blacks will still be poor

And we still will be profiled

But museums are not just being stopped by

State troopers

They got new jails for them

Blacks can’t take the county jail

Lets alone

Sitting in some dark hole

In some country run by savages

Sorry

Am I being too harsh here?

So shut the hell up

Just think of how many young people of color

How many young ladies and men

Will be able to say that they really can be anything in America

And mean it

I didn't salute the flag until I was 21 years old

And a cop

And they forced me to do it under treat

Of being fired

I am a different generation

I told a young person this the other day

And they looked at me like I was crazy

Ok more like I was just an old hippie

Reminiscing abut the good old days

And that what it is its history

The talking heads on television

From Oliver north, to Wesley Clark, Greta, bill

Lou dobs, the world in which you people live in

Is gone

Anyway

Obama has his eyes on a larger prize

Hell Jessie I

Saying what I hear all the time

But even I know how to keep my comments

To a select audience

Not in public

Or at school

When I am out I yell out Obama

I keep my private thoughts to those who can

Discount them if they so chose

Don’t get me wrong

I still have lots of problems with Obama

But I have problems

With the people next door

The woman who cut my lunch meat at the deli

And every other person I bump into in the street

Yes we are a mean generation

So shut the hell up

Who cares?

Obama’s

Background is different

Some say he didn't go through the slave thing

So what

Do we always have to share?

Black folks have got to get out of their heads that they are the

Only ones that have suffered in this world

Then we will be able to join with the many others

Of color and not of color

Who are poor and suffering?

Obama is not a solution

He is a door way into the future

He is a new way

All those pimps and players

And kids in the inner city

Who could have run corporations?

Where it not for their circumstance

Played their dues

For this guy to learn from

And learn he has

Harvard hallways and law offices

He learned from

He knows this world

And that world

Let him loose

My generation

Spent most of our lives in rebellion

The windmills......the windmills

Some one said on a show today

A young black man

Those men of Jessie's generation

Have been waiting for Obama

Their whole life

Now that it is here

They simply can’t believe it

I probably fall under this heading

Except

That I must ad

That it’s not so much about Obama

But America

I know its tricks

And I am just waiting

To offer wise council and then return to the front porch

Call me if you need me

So I say to all old negates

All old white liberals

Who still like to dress up and protest?

Shut the hell up

Try to be positive

Wait and see

Work for the guy

Protect him

Obama knows history in ways I never will

Even though

He wasn't here when they sang we shall over come

They sang it in other places too

You know

The read about it in South Africa

And then used it just as strongly

As if they had been there

so duhhhhh...................

Don’t get me wrong

I still think his message is weak

But it has to be for now

He is turning into Mohamed ail

Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee

Do that ropa dope

Brother

Obama

That boy knows how to play the game

And I respect that

Message

Man I don’t care about messages

I want legislation

I want stuff on paper

Anyway

Jessie looks like a fool

Isn’t it amazing though

That all of the black fools

Are turning out to be ministers

What does that say?

About the state of black America

Jessie’s theology is much like mine

No cross a crown

Obama into lift every voice and sing

Or aint no stopping us now

What ever

Different songs

But the same end results

Hopefully

Anyway

Back to Jessie

Who the hell can understand?

A damn thing that Jessie says

Maybe that’s why he is jealous

Because Obama can speak clearly

Who knows?

I am somebody

Rub some more blood on that shirt

Jessie

I even forgave you for that

But today you pissed me off

Your picture is going up next to Naders

If any one comes here

And looks at my wall

They will think I have turned into a skin head

Black folks

lord

Black folks know we got issues

I get no pleasure out of seeing these fools blow things

For Obama

None

It’s the history of black America

A real American story

That maybe one day we will be able to talk about

But until then

Every one shut the hell up

We got to sneak this brother in

Think Harriet tug man fools
