I was just watching Obama give another speech.

And then these young black men

showed up to heckle him.

To denounce him, for not speaking out enough about the plight of the black community.

Are they well intentioned, Maybe.

Are they misinformed definitely.

Who are these young guys, they are like so many that i run into in the inner city.

talking prophecy damnation and the rest

It isn't a bad thing if you are informed

and most of these guys are not

hey I am as down with the revolution

as the next guy

and if they would just shut the hell up

they would be a witness to it

You know these  guys  they are the ones who read the first paragraph of a article and then proceed to set about informing the world of their newly discovered wisdom

You guys know what i am talking about

any one over 40 has had  you had a conversation with a young person who has just discovered that they print books and that they are entitled along with the rest of the world to read one

they  then proceed to rant and rave with their misinformed unfinished hypostasis of a world event.

I know i was one of those young guys

thank God for a father and elders around me, that told me firstly in clear concise terms how wrong i was

and when that didn't work

they told me to shut the hell up

who are these idiots who think that they have the right to mess things up for the rest of us.

every time i see these black guys stand up and try to sound informed, my stomach turns

and i get angry as hell

am i getting older and meaner

who are these guys

We used to have a name for them in my day.

when i watch those young folks

shouting out things

and trying to derail the train

i am reminded of the riots

lets burn down the places where we live

that will fix them

lets cut off our noses to spite our faces

I propose that the black community bring back the practice of stoning

not with bricks

but with bitch slaps

and with  a hundred pair of shoes

church mother shoes

and the blows should be administered by old church ladies

I got these seats to the première

of the  movie Clockers by Richard Price

It was  a star studded event

and i was sitting right in front of

Conan O'Brien

when they muttered the line

that blacks are a self cleaning oven

I fell out of the seat laughing

i couldn't stop

i looked behind me and Ole Conan

was looking at me at horror, i mean horror

it just made me laugh harder

i might have been the only one in the place that found this funny 

but so what
