I take A LOT of Flak for having the AUDASITY of having priced two of my works at the cost of a million dollars. I have heard such things as “NO PIECE OF PAPER IS WORTH A MILLION DOLLARS”, “ NOBODY will ever PAY YOU a MILLION DOLLARS for That WORK.” So on and so forth. Most of the time I am pretty quiet about and don’t say much. My opinion is that I created and therefore I can set ANY PRICE to MY IDEA I want and someone can either pay for it or pry it out of my dead and grimy hand. In truth though it will be passed down to my daughter and then she can decide its value from there. The reason these works are priced as such is because, if anyone had told me when I started my artistic journey that I would have been able to create these works I would have never believed them. For me these two works represent my ability to master my craft with skill I would have never dreamed possible. These works define me as an artist and represent my artistic journey. Although I never questioned my decision I defiantly never had an answer for naysayers. That was until I started studying philosophies of SUCCESS, which state not only is my right but it is my obligation to do so. AS EVERY SINGLE PERSON has A MILLION DOLLAR IDEA and only by asking for its PROPER PRICE will we paid the proper sum of its value. Here is a recent article I found online from SUCCESS Magazine.
